Zoho invoice is one of the many products released by Zoho Corporation. It’s a sophisticated accounting and finance system which provides invoicing, expense management and timesheet features. It’s an ideal choice for small to medium sized businesses as well as freelancers who are looking to create customizable invoices efficiently.
Plans & Pricing
Zoho offers a ‘forever free’ plan which is ideal for companies that have to only create invoices for up to 5 customers. Other than that, there are the following plan options:
The basic plan costs $9 per month (or $90 for the whole year if you choose to pay annually). You can invoice up to 50 customers and generate 5 automated workflows. Only one user can use the application and it comes with all the fundamental Zoho features (including invoicing, estimates, time tracking and expense tracking) barring a custom domain which is only available with the professional plan.
This plan costs $19 if you choose to pay every month and $190 if you want to settle for an annual billing schedule. It is the same as the basic package apart from the facts that 3 users can use the application; up to 500 customers can be invoiced with it and up to 10 automated workflows can be generated.
The professional package costs $29 per month or $290 per year. You can invoice unlimited customers with it, up to 10 users can use the application, 10 automated workflows can be generated and you also get a custom domain to go with all the Standard plan features.
After taking the versatility and richness of the features provided by Zoho Invoice into account, it can be concluded that their prices are fairly reasonable compared to their counterparts.
Features & Functionality
The Zoho Invoice dashboard provides a vivid overview of the financial health and history of a company. From viewing the total receivables, sales and expense graphs as well as ongoing and previously billed projects, you can do it all from the main screen of the application.
Intuitive and Efficient Invoicing
With a simple click on the sidebar menu, you are taken to the intuitive invoicing screen where you can generate a customized invoice within seconds. You can set terms, assign a due date, select a salesperson, attach up to 5 files, choose a different template or make an invoice recurring all from the same screen. You can also send the invoices by email.
Multilingual and Multi-Currency
With Zoho, you can send invoices in 10 different languages ranging from German and Swedish to Japanese and more. You can also send invoices in the recipient’s currency and make any currency-specific adjustments.
You can also generate reports on real-time sales and payment data. There are many different report types including estimate details, withholding tax, expense details, expenses by category and recurring invoice details etc.
Recording expenses or mileage is also fairly simple and efficient with Zoho. You can also add multiple expenses in bulk. Attaching a customer or a receipt against an invoice is also possible.
Using the timesheet feature on the Zoho application, you can manage a project with assurance. You are also able to attach a customer and a billing method to it or add all the involved users. You can add tasks, their descriptions and mark them as billable if applicable.
